SPX3160Illustrated overview
A useful fit for

Household users who want a rolling compact washer and an included soap bottle beside a suitable outlet and tap.

The main tradeoff

The nozzle adjusts pattern; the reviewed instructions do not establish a separate pressure-control mode. Foam-volume adjustment is not pump-pressure adjustment.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I roll it around instead of using a tall cart?

The reviewed package has two rear wheels and two casters on a low body. It still needs a garden-water hose and mains lead.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is soap application already included?

Yes. The package contains a 10 fl oz foam cannon. Fit it for a separate soap stage and return to the instructed rinse arrangement afterward.

Does the foam-volume knob prove adjustable water pressure?

No. Foam volume and spray pattern are different from a documented pressure-control mode. This model does not satisfy an essential pressure-adjustment answer on that basis.

A rolling compact washer with the soap bottle included

The SPX3160 suits someone who wants a low, four-wheel electric washer rather than a tall upright cart. Its other practical advantage is an included small foam cannon. That makes the reviewed package more complete for a basic soap-and-rinse routine than a compact washer whose detergent bottle must be purchased separately.

Its limitation is a control distinction. The wand adjusts the spray pattern, and the foam cannon has a foam-volume control. The reviewed instructions do not establish a separate user pressure setting. Those two adjustments should not be relabeled as an adjustable-pressure pump.

Small wheels change movement, not the supply requirements

The assembly instructions show two rear wheels and two casters. This low arrangement can suit a shopper who wants to reposition the washer on an appropriate surface without managing a tall frame. It is still an electric washer attached to pressurized garden water, so hoses, leads and the condition of the ground affect how easily a job proceeds.

The technical table identifies a net weight of 11.9 pounds. That is the documented tool-weight reference, not the mass of a complete cleaning setup with water hoses, detergent and accessories arranged for use. Think about where the unit must be stored and whether steps or uneven ground are part of the route, rather than turning wheel count into a general portability score.

Keep the working pair separate from the cover figures

The manual rates the washer at 1150 PSI and 1.1 GPM under typical load. Its cover explains the different conditions behind the headline figures: 1600 PSI is maximum pressure at initial discharge, while 1.45 GPM is maximum flow with the nozzle open at minimum pressure. They are not a simultaneous operating pair.

That matters if you choose an output requirement in the questionnaire. The finder can evaluate the rated 1150 PSI/1.1 GPM setup honestly. It should not assign the maximum flow to the initial-discharge pressure. For an ordinary first decision, choose the task and supply arrangement before deciding whether a numerical threshold is actually needed.

The included foam stage

The carton list includes a 10-fluid-ounce, approximately.3-liter foam cannon. The instructions describe changing from the rinse arrangement to the cannon, filling it with an approved solution and using its control to adjust foam delivery. This is an included soap route, which is useful when detergent application is part of your normal wash routine.

It is also a small container. Plan on preparing the correct solution and refilling as needed for the job, rather than assuming it holds as much as an onboard multi-liter tank. Use the approved cleaner and application directions. Do not let detergent dry on a surface, and do not describe the foam stage as delivering soap at the rated rinse pressure and flow.

Which household jobs fit?

The manual places the SPX3160 in light-to-medium residential cleaning and lists applications including vehicles, decks, siding and patio furniture. Use that scope with the correct pattern, distance and surface precautions. Begin in an inconspicuous area, particularly on wood or coated surfaces, and respect restrictions from the owner of the material being cleaned.

The supplied nozzle varies from a concentrated stream to a wider fan. A narrow stream is not the default for every stain, and a broad fan is not proof that fragile material cannot be damaged. There is no supplied turbo nozzle or surface cleaner in the reviewed package. If a broad-area attachment is the deciding feature, compare a package that actually includes and documents one.

Allow space for the outlet hose and electrical lead

The outlet hose is 20 feet and the cord 35 feet. The documented electrical version is 120 V, 60 Hz at 11 A. Use the specified GFCI protection and keep electrical connections dry and off the ground. Clean pressurized water must meet the manual’s inlet requirements and stay below 104°F; a garden-hose connection is not confirmation of suction from a bucket.

Purge the water route, follow the start sequence and release pressure before disconnecting after use. The pump must be emptied and protected from freezing in storage. Choose the SPX3160 for its rolling low body and included small foam cannon. Choose a different design if you need off-tap operation, an actual hose reel or a documented independent pressure-control setting.
