Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can I roll it along the driveway and lift it over a step?
The documented design has wheels and a telescoping pull handle, plus separate carry handles. The 24-pound unit reference excludes the effort of managing water, hose and accessories.

A working-pressure figure is not established by that maximum. The original manual labels flow as rated 1.2 GPM, but this review does not turn its maximum pressure into a simultaneous working pair.

The pressure washer has a removable built-in soap tank. Use the supplied soap nozzle for detergent; rinse tips do not draw soap in the same way.
Explore this need in the finder →A compact frame with two ways to move
The DEWALT DWPW2100 is designed around a useful handling choice: carry the cage-frame machine for a short transfer, or extend the handle and roll it to the next location. That matters more than the jobsite name if your cleaning routine involves a vehicle, steps and several separate areas around the home.
It is a corded electric washer. You avoid preparing engine fuel, but you still need a suitable electrical supply and a pressurized cold-water connection. A portable frame does not make it a cordless or bucket-fed cleaner.
Check reach before choosing a parking position
The documented setup includes a 25-foot high-pressure hose and a 35-foot power cord. Those lengths serve different parts of the arrangement. The first connects the machine to your gun; the second connects it to the power source. The garden hose feeding the pump is another separate requirement.
Think about where all three can lie without pulling tight across a step or traffic route. The manual warns against moving the machine by tugging its supply hose. Shut down and relieve pressure before using the carry handles or telescoping cart handle to reposition it.
Storage position is not operating position
DEWALT allows storage arrangements that can save room, but its operating instructions are specific: keep the unit right-side up on its feet and wheels. Do not run it stood vertically, on its side or flipped over. This is important if you picture leaving the cage tucked into a narrow vertical gap while cleaning.
The high-pressure hose coils between the main body and frame. That is onboard storage, not a hose reel. You still uncoil the hose for use and manage it manually when packing away. The 24-pound machine reference also does not include every item you may carry to the work area.
Use the pressure headline carefully
The specification gives 2100 maximum PSI and 1.2 rated GPM. The pressure number is explicitly a maximum. This review therefore does not treat it as a verified 2100 PSI working condition or multiply it by the flow figure to create a performance score.
A buyer with a precise minimum working-pressure requirement needs a documented working rating. A buyer choosing for ordinary compatible tasks can instead compare the supplied tips, water requirements and handling arrangement. Neither approach requires pretending a peak figure is a guarantee of sustained cleaning output.
Separate the rinse and detergent steps
The exact product package includes turbo, 15-degree, 40-degree and soap tips. The manual also explains other common tips, including a 25-degree option; a generic explanation is not proof that every listed tip is in this box. Confirm the actual package before planning around an extra nozzle.
Detergent goes into the removable built-in tank and flows with the soap nozzle. It does not flow through the rinse tips in the same way. That means a soap-and-rinse routine involves changing the setup appropriately, rather than expecting high-pressure soap application at the pressure headline.
Where its configuration makes sense
The maker describes outdoor uses including vehicles, decks, siding and sidewalks. Suitability still depends on the surface, correct nozzle and working distance. A turbo nozzle intended for abrasive cleaning is not a default choice for paint, timber or vulnerable trim.
The North American manual specifies 120 V AC, 60 Hz and 13 A, with a minimum 15 A source. It also sets a 20–100 PSI inlet-water range and a GFCI test procedure. These are setup requirements, not optional details to discover after buying.
Choose the DWPW2100 when a wheeled but carryable corded machine and compact storage frame fit those supplies and tasks. Look elsewhere for included flat-surface-cleaner coverage, an actual hose reel, a documented bucket-draw system or a verified working-pressure figure. Each is a separate requirement that the frame and headline cannot supply.
