PW1750Illustrated overview
A useful fit for

Someone comparing the exact 2007 PW1750 who has a suitable 120 V connection and pressurized cold garden water.

The main tradeoff

The 1750 PSI and 1.5 GPM figures are maxima, not a documented working pair; condition and original parts matter on this older reference.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I use its 1750 PSI number as rated working pressure?

No. The original table explicitly labels pressure and capacity as maximum. It does not establish a working pair.

Is a detergent bottle part of the original arrangement?

Yes. The original component list and operation identify the bottle. Follow its separate soap setup rather than assuming detergent flows through every rinse nozzle.

Will a garden connector let it draw from a bucket?

No such route is documented. The original instructions connect a garden hose to a water supply and turn that supply on.

An older electric reference that should be compared by its own manual

The PW1750 is useful when you are comparing an exact earlier Campbell Hausfeld machine rather than shopping by a generic pressure number. Its original arrangement includes an adjustable fan lance, a detergent bottle and a turbo-nozzle reference in the component list. A holder keeps the hose with the unit; it is not a crank reel.

The source is theJanuary 2007 IN 468800AV manual for PW1750. Confirm that complete model name on the actual machine. Specifications for aPW1550, a laterPW series or another Campbell Hausfeld cart should not be transferred onto it.

The two largest numbers are explicitly maxima

The specification table lists 1750 PSI maximum pressure and 1.5 GPM maximum capacity. It also prints a “cleaning power” calculation. None of that supplies a separately documented working pressure-and-flow pair, and this review does not use the multiplication as an overall quality score.

That affects a deliberate output requirement in the finder. If you ask for a minimum working pressure or a matched working-flow threshold, the maximum table cannot quietly become the answer. If you simply need to compare an existing washer’s setup, the model, water route and supplied equipment remain useful without inventing a missing rated pair.

Plan a direct electrical connection

The original electrical specification is 120 V and 14 A. The manual identifies GFCI protection and expressly prohibits an extension cord. Plan the working location around the proper outlet rather than assuming a long extension is an acceptable way to reach the job.

Inspect the complete cord and protective assembly on an actual older machine. Damaged insulation, unreliable switches or missing protective parts need proper service, not an improvised bypass. Keep connections dry and off the ground and do not aim the washer at electrical apparatus.

A garden-water setup, not a portable water source

The connection instructions attach the garden hose through the swivel adapter to the pump inlet, then turn the water on and purge air before operation. The inlet limit is 100°F. A cold-water garden connector does not establish self-priming suction from a container.

This is important if you are considering the washer for a remote parking area or a garden without a tap. It does not solve that water problem. A documented container-fed cleaner is the more relevant comparison, even if its pressure headline is much smaller.

The lance and turbo require different care

The adjustable fan lance changes the spray pattern. The manual explains that impact also depends on distance and angle. These are application choices, not evidence of a separate user-controlled pressure regulator.

Its directions warn against a narrow high-impact stream or turbo nozzle on a surface susceptible to damage. Begin with a broad pattern well away from a hidden test area and approach cautiously. A turbo tip in the component list should not become a promise that every coating, seal or fragile surface can be cleaned with it.

Soap and condition are part of the package

The original parts reference identifies a detergent bottle. Use a pressure-washer cleaner of the appropriate consistency and follow the separate bottle instructions. Detergent application and high-pressure rinsing are different stages; soap should not be described as delivered at the machine’s maximum pressure.

On an older unit, check that the bottle, adapter, lance, gun and hose actually match the original arrangement. A replacement-parts listing does not guarantee that a secondhand or remaining-stock package includes every item. The historical warranty text is not a present-day warranty promise.

After use, switch off, unplug, shut off the water and release remaining pressure before disconnecting. Store the drained machine where it cannot freeze. Choose thePW1750 reference for understanding a confirmed existing model and its accessories; choose a better-documented current setup when verified working output or a different water route is essential.
